About Dr. Moni Ahmadian
Dr. Moni Ahmadian is an associate professor of oral pathology and the director of the Oral Pathology Biopsy Service at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. He earned his bachelor of sciences degree in biochemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno and completed his doctorate degree in dental medicine at UNLV School of Dental Medicine in 2012. Upon graduation, Dr. Ahmadian practiced as a general dentist in Reno prior to relocation to New York City where he completed his residency training in oral pathology at New York-Presbyterian/Queens.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a fellow in the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. In addition to directing UNLV Oral Pathology Biopsy Service, Dr. Ahmadian actively participates at UNLV Faculty Dental Practice providing oral medicine consultations. He also dedicates time in various UNLV Community Outreach Clinics. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Ahmadian is currently directing both systemic and oral pathology curriculum at UNLV School of Dental Medicine.
